Acceptedtogradschool.com was created to as an online guide to information on graduate program in psychology, tips and strategies on graduate admissions, and helpful resources in the way of suggesting informative books and products to help students become competitive for graduate school.
Many graduate programs have a select number of slots for incoming students and receive hundreds of applications. After being on the inside track of graduate admissions (and successfully gaining admissions to a top program in psychology), there is a wealth of information I have to share with prospective students. Unfortunately, some times professors and graduate students are pressed for time, and split their work between many activities so they may not be available for in-depth question and answer sessions or specialized coaching in terms of strengthening your overall application package.
Dr. K.A. Thomas received her doctorate in Developmental Psychology from the University of Michigan. She is currently working overtime to write articles and build in the kind of content that prospective students need to answer their questions about graduate school in psychology. If you have any suggestions about content that you would like to see here, please email at: acceptedtogradschool@gmail.com.
For students seeking additional guidance in the form of personalized feedback on editing/revising successful personal statements, she is also available for e-mail consultation.
